When : March 14th 4pm-8pm & March 15th 10am-6pm
Where : Allied Arts : 1213 Cornwall Ave., Bellingham, WA 98225 – A CREATIVE REUSE+ place! I AM SO EXCITED!
What : a rusty dye & junk journaling workshop + pop up shop
The evening of Saturday will be spent learning how to rust dye! we’ll prepare our bundles, set them to cook & return on Sunday to build a book with our new rusty pieces & a few of my favorite techniques!
Price includes a workshop kit & instruction.
Supplies:
- There will be a certain amount of sharable supplies.
- We are at a CREATIVE REUSE! so bring some $cash to do a little shopping, too!!!
- Please bring with you your standard art kit:
- Non-stick craft mat
- glue stick (uhu etc,)
- wet adhesive (like fabri-tac or fabri-fix)
- permanent black pens (micron or faber castell)
- scissors
- crop-o-dile or hole punch if you have one
- a poker tool / needle
- stapler
- a couple of paintbrushes
- a water cup.
- A few (A FEW) scraps of fabric
- A few (A FEW) pieces of varied paper
- Anything you NEED to have on hand when you junk journal <3
Bottled water & snacks provided. Lunch will break from 12:30-1:30 for close by things, or pack your lunch to stay & eat ^_^
